Wound Management: An Illustrated Textbook

The idea to publish an illustrated textbook on wound management was brought to the fore at the wound care conference in Nairobi in the year 2018. The main purpose was to develop a book that is intended for the wound care specialists and doctors who, in their daily routine, handle patients with wounds in a setup of limited resources.
This book addresses all aspects of wounds from wound patho-physiology, classification, dressings and ultimately wound closure. Each chapter has illustrations, tables and pictures that make it easy for one to read and understand the various principles of wound management. It is the hope of the authors that by reading this book your knowledge and skills on wound management will be enriched making one comfortable when handling and managing a majority of wounds.
